This project is an exploration of the abandoned gypsum factory hidden on the banks of Skyukill River in South West Philadelphia. What is a building, once it is left behind? What is industry, once it is dead? What is a space, once it has been abandoned? This is a love poem to a place, officially demolished in July, 2007.
